* modern psychotherapy- including interpersonal neurobiology & attachment theory, emotionally engaged healing (learn about Dynamic Enriched Experiential Psychotherapy (DEEP)), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and Brainspotting (learn about Brainspotting).
* along with ancient yoga, breath work, mindfulness, and spiritual transformation approaches when appropriate.

Entering therapy may feel scary, but it can be a very rewarding and empowering experience. I love helping you identify the support and changes you are seeking. I'll share a broad range of tools to help you move forward. Your challenges are unique and we will discover what works best for you. Our relationship is central to the process. Indeed, research affirms that healing experiences which take place in the context of a secure relationship help 'rewire' the brain and produce lasting changes.

If you find yourself lacking energy and motivation to help yourself, or you fear the potential pain and uncertainty of making changes, I will support you in moving through these stuck places. Some old trauma and 'raw spots' may take time to work with and heal - we will find a pace that feels right for you.

It's my pleasure to help others heal their broken places and discover their confidence and zest for life. I believe one of the best ways I can help you is by keeping up my own meditative practices. I'm also a lifelong learner and I continue to study the most recent findings in neurobiology and psychotherapy. I am on the board of Austin IN Connection and I lead their Year of Conversations Committee which presents monthly experiential healing approaches.
